The Best of High Point Market 2018

The High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, bringing more than 75,000 people to High Point, North Carolina, which saw about 1,950 companies showcase their furniture and furniture-related goods from April 14 to April 18.

This Season of High Point Market bought an entirely new collection of décor trends, here are some of the “Best of High Point Market 2018” from Showroom Software CEO & Founder Brian Maclaggen.

Suzanne Kasler collaborated with Hickory Chair to introduce the Paris Apartment collection. The new collection is a sophisticated blend of intricately detailed, hand-crafted wood products, as well as tailored upholstered pieces.
LEE Industries has always been able to create innovatively styled, high-quality home furnishings while adhering to a set of values that focus on their customers, the community, and the environment
Pure luxury and glamour from Henredon Furniture.  While new manufacturing techniques are used we found there is still a considerable amount of hand and detail work performed on each piece.
Palecek believes that “green” is a process, not a destination. They acknowledge the resource-intensive industry that necessitates a balance of style and sustainability. They showcased their inspiration by the beauty of natural materials.
A High Point Highlight, the Currey & CO’s enchanted forest cast a spell on everyone, offering 240 new products. The showroom had over 200,000 leaves bringing their collection to life.
There were many products that lit High Point up. Mr. Brown Home introduced dozens of new lighting styles, including the Halle pendant in solid brass.
The eternal optimism has always been a laudable furnishings industry trait, with so many new ranges that caught our eye, it was a welcome sight for the new season.
