E-Commerce was implemented for logged in designers only. This function allowed easy access to products that are available immediately. Having this instant gratification functionality increased traffic to the site and created additional sales.

A CRM was implemented to process the analytic data being collected from the digital catalog. One key functionality of the CRM are the automated alerts informing the Thomas Lavin sales team which designers or consumers are actively sourcing products. This ensures the team is contacting designers at the right time in the sourcing cycle.
Also implemented was a digital catalog, analytic tracking and E-commerce

Custom analytics are installed into the digital catalog. Client movements are tracked so you can see which items they are viewing, adding to projects, downloading tear sheets and more. Similarly products are tracked as to which products or brands are receiving the most attention. You can track and download analytic reports on client behavior 24/7.

Brian MacLaggan


    Brian is the founder and CEO of ShowroomSoftware. Brian has 20 years of experience in the Interior Design Trade Industry. Co-Founding Colibri Furniture a custom furniture brand, Grupo Oeste an international production facility and Gregory Matthew a multi-line design showroom. In 2015 Brian was director of furniture and lighting for the retail start up Soho Home a subdivision of the Soho House hotel group.

      Mary Ellen brings 20+ years marketing and operational executive leadership experience to the ShowroomSoftware partnership.

      In 2014, Mary Ellen founded ReachMeDigital, a full service digital marketing agency. Her extensive experience includes high profile roles: VP Operations Swiftpage; VP eMarketing Rhythms Netconnections; and Director of Marketing and Content (now InterCall).
